We Love The Ocean!
The trip was really to watch Davis play rugby, but we got to hang out at the Beach just livin' the good life when we weren't cheering him on. We were busy making smores and roasting hotdogs around a bonfire and running from the waves. What a life!

The Exciting Sport Of T-Ball!

Oh goodness. Alyssa's T-ball season was hilarious. I know all of you T-Ball parents can relate. You find yourself wondering why in the world the kids play 3 (very long) innings and why it takes an entire team to retrieve a ball from the outfield. It was very cute. Alyssa's unique way of retrieving a grounder is one of those "see it to believe it" kind of things, but here's a decent description - one leg straight, the other bent, bum way up in the air, with her glove at least at ball's height OFF the ground. Good stuff!! She could usually hit off the pitcher and then ran her heart out to first base.

By the end of the season, Mike was a major hitter. His games were so exciting to watch - from the car for the ridiculously cold night games. Brrrr! What would baseball season be without a winter coat!?

1st day of Kindergarden...you go girl!
On my way!
The infamous "backpack"! Jason and Lyss went backpack shopping and this was the result...a long-handled suitcase on wheels! I should have known better!
Trying to be brave!
